Saph Pani Project meeting at Anna University, Chennai, India


The third project-meeting of Sap Pani was held on 13th-14th of December in Chennai, India, and was hosted by Anna University.
41 delegates of the 20 Partners of the Saph Pani consortium and the three members of the expert 
advisory board Rajendra Prasad from Andhra University India, Sanjay Bajpai from the Departement of Science & Technology and Dieter Mutz from GIZ India, came together to discuss about the project results so far. The delegates were greeted by Philippe De Taxis Du Poët of the Delegation of the European Union to India, underlining the importance of Saph Pani and of Indo-European collaboration in the water sector.

In separate break-out-sessions the different work packages where discussed in detail with the involved persons. Action steps where developed and plans were made.

To see more of the practical work that has been achieved in Chennai, a trip to a nearby check dam and a connected bore well was organised.
